R-Filter

Type R likewise constitutes a completely closed, self-discharging filter, but for the extraction of dry filtration residues. The filter package is the same as that of Type A and likewise allows direct and precoat filtration. On completion of the filtration, with this filter the following process steps can be carried out:

• Washing
• Extraction
• Steam treatment
• Drying using gasses

After the last process step the residues are centrifuged and discharged dry.
